Dae Won Food™has been founded in Korea in 1986 as a manufacturer of traditional Korean food products.  When the Korean immigrant population grows heavily in the United States, markets are demanding more authentic Korean food products, due to this reason, Dae Won Food™established its first plant in Seattle, then expanded its manufacturing plant in 2006 at a city of Gardena, California to fulfill the demands from the markets.

Dae Won Food™produces quality and safe food products under strict and hygienic procedures and strives to maintain above industry standard.  Food production is regularly monitored by HACCP, known as a systematic, preventative approach for food safety.  Dae Won Food™ continues to expand its services and distributors nationwide and investing aggressively on R&D to positioning in leading Korean food manufacturer.

• 1986  -  Founded in Seoul, South Korea as Mi Kyung Food opened for business as a general food manufacturer.

• 1996  -  Made its first debut in USA as Daewon Food, Inc. and established the first production facility in Seattle, Washington.

• 2006  -  Expanding the new location in the city of Gardena, California.

• 2018 -  Silliker Good Manufacturing Practices and Food  Safety System Audit with a score of 94.1%.

 

• 2018 -  Branches founded in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Dallas, Hawaii, Denver in USA, and Vancouver, Canada.
